Sausalito Hillside Remodel: The Chef’s Entertaining Kitchen

Written by Scott Couture on . Posted in Couture Architecture Blog

The kitchen location in this Sausalito home was walled off from the fabulous bay views and the living spaces. The owners loved to cook while entertaining friends and family so we removed the interior walls and opened up the exterior walls to the expansive view of the bay and new deck. The chief now has commanding views of the bay, deck, side patio and all her happy guest. The highly textured kitchen finishes use modern detailing while bringing in craftsman cues in colors and materials from the rest of the home. Well used and well loved, this kitchen, dining room and deck are designed for casual comfort..
